Bookkeeper Job description
Responsibilities
- QuickBooks software is utilized to enter financial information.
- Enter sales orders and process invoices.
- Enter bills & process payable checks.
- Process customer payments and bank deposits.
- Payroll processing bi-weekly, including taxes.
- Enter and track inventory in QuickBooks including purchase orders.
- Month end financial statement processing including bank and general ledger reconciliations and sales tax reporting.
- Quarterly reporting
- Year-end processing of W-2’s & 1099
- Preparing year end financials for accountant.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with customers, vendors, co-workers.
- 16-24 Hours per week are expected during our normal office hours of 8:30am- 5:00pm M-F. We are flexible about the days and hours worked within our normal office hours. We expect to develop a consistent schedule that works for all of us. We are a seasonal business so certain times of the year are busier than others, which may affect hours needed.
Experience Required:
- 2 years of General Bookkeeping experience.
- 2 years of completing all aspects of Payroll including tax filing.
- 1 year of QuickBooks Software experience.
Education
- High School Diploma (required)
- Bookkeeping / Accounting Technical Diploma (preferred)
- Accounting Associate’s Degree (preferred)

Job Type: Part Time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour expected, based on experience level.
